Anyway, my mother bought these for the children for a snack and I will tell you everyone in my family who has tasted these finds them absolutely addictive. My husband and my brother-in-law now both have to have a can of these every week. They won't even share with my sister and I so we, of course have to buy our own can. lol. Our children can't get enough of them. Seriously the best cookie ever. None of us even liked macaroons before Jennies. Buy them, try them and love them, just know there isn't a patch to get help when you become addicted, but there may be enough of us to start a meeting or two. lol.

(More customer reviews)This is my favorite cake and muffin mix. It makes a very nice dense cake that no one would guess is gluten-free! I feel most oils are a more nutritious alternative to dairy-free margine, so I always use a different oil (walnut, almond, grapeseed, etc) and they all turn out delicious. I also substitute different sweeteners for the sugar such as maple syrup, honey, yacon syrup, date sugar, and coconut sugar and have been consistently very pleased. The bag also offers variations to make: pineapple upside-down cake, coconut cake, orange cake, lemon cake, ginger spice cake (one of my favorites!), marble cake, pumpkin cake, carrot cake, zucchini cake, banana cake, applesauce cake, snicker doodles, mexican wedding cookies, thumbprint cookies and pie crust. (More customer reviews)I am a Cravings Place fan, and this is my favorite of all their mixes. I have allergies/severe intolerances to wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts. It is hard to find tasty baked goods with a decent texture, but the Cravings Place mixes are the best at achieving both.
I love this mix so much, that I had my mom make it for my wedding cake! She used homemade, thick apple butter between the layers, and a maple frosting. It was to die for!!! Nobody could tell it was not "normal" cake, and nobody cared! Like most GF cakes, this does not hold up so well to layering - but my mom is a kitchen goddess and figured it out.
I make this mix frequently. I love the cookies and cake equally. I can't keep my husband out of it, either!
Very fast and easy to make. Serve a warm bar cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice/soy/rice cream for an excellent treat!

(More customer reviews)This mix makes wonderful crispy on the outside tender on the inside waffles however they were so sweet that by the time you put syrup or any other topping on it they get so sickeningly sweet you can hardly eat them. Its like they put in too much vanilla or something. To me the whole point of a waffle or pancake is that they be more of a plain base that compliments whatever toppings you choose to put on them. They shouldn't compete with the flavor of the toppings. With these being so sweet already it was just way too much. Seriously, you could just butter and eat them with no additional topping. Will continue to look for something more akin to original waffles and pancakes.

(More customer reviews)I've been using this product for over a year, to bake for my egg allergic son. I've had excellent results when substituting 1 or 2 eggs in a baking recipe. However, I always DOUBLE the amount of Organ no-egg powder they recommend (the package says for each egg, use 1 tsp of orgran no-egg, and 2 Tbsp of water . . . I use 2 rounded tsp orgran and 2 Tbsp water) and I whisk it until it's nice and foamy.
I've not tried using it for other cooking (custards, souffles, etc) so my review does not take those into account.

Their Brownie is deliciously Chocolately and if cooked for about 16 minutes, comes out fudgy also! I also like the Chocolate Chips right in the mix! I would highly recommend it!

(More customer reviews)Just so you know, there are no peanuts in this mix. You have the option to add any nut butter of your choice. I'd been wanting "peanut butter" cookies for years since our allergies were diagnosed, but peanuts are not an option for us. I made this mix using Sunbutter Natural Sunflower Seed Spread, 16-Ounce Plastic Jars (Pack of 6) and it was EXACTLY like the peanut butter cookies my mom used to make (you know, the ones rolled in sugar and pressed with a fork). I'm planning to make some more with dairy free chocolate- like the hershey's kiss ones- for Christmas. The batch made with one bag was huge. About double the amount you usually get from a cookie mix. Anyway, I highly recommend this mix. As a matter of fact, I haven't tried anything from the Cravings Place that didn't taste like the original gluten version I remember so go ahead and try whatever sounds good. You won't be disappointed!

(More customer reviews)I wonder if the average person knows how difficult it is for someone with severe food allergies to find packaged preprepared foods they can safely eat? Let alone something that actually resembles the real thing in taste and texture (without tasting like flavored cardboard).
I'm allergic to soy, gluten, wheat and various other foods. Ingesting even tiny amounts cause life threatening reactions. As a result I cook most of my own meals from scratch, don't often risk eating out and take "safe" food with me when I travel.
Unfortunately soy and gluten seem to be the foundation of most western foods. So it's really REALLY hard to find foods that don't contain at least one of these ingredients. So having an option like "Enjoy Life" foods is wonderful.
Yes they're small and yes they're rich and calorie laden ... but they taste good and ARE SAFE for ANYONE to eat. Believe me that's an incredibly bold statement. So who cares how big they are?! Besides, at Amazon's prices you can eat more if you want to ...

I used 1/2 cup of Canola oil in my first attempt to make this cake and it yielded a bone dry cake with an unappetizing flavor that seemed substandard even for a gluten and dairy free cake. In my second attempt to make this cake I used 1/4 cup of Olive oil and 1/4 cup of Coconut oil and it yielded a moist cake with the most delicious flavor and mouth feel! It was even indistinguishable from normal chocolate cake! After refrigeration, the moist cake became dry, likely because of the coconut oil that hardens in cooler temperatures, but quickly reverted back to its deliciously moist self when warmed.
I would happily cook with this cake mix again and serve it to my non-allergen-challenged friends and family!

(More customer reviews)I've been using this egg replacer for over a decade. First as a vegan and now just because I have a few friends allergic to eggs and it is easy to keep on hand. I prefer to use it in muffin, pancake and cake recipes that call for egg. I've used it both as instructed (combine with water first) and I've just sifted it with my dry ingredients and obtained excellent results. If you have a recipe for vegan cupcakes for example that tend to crumble, just add 1.5 teaspoons to the dry ingredients in your recipe and this just might fix the problem! Recently I found out that I have Celiacs and so I've also been using the egg replacer in gluten free recipes, also with excellent results!
