(More customer reviews)This is one of my favorite chocolate cookies mixes to get that fresh out of the oven melted chocolate chip fun! Once cooled, I prefer ready-made cookies Andean Dream Cocoa-orange Gluten Free Vegan Cookies and Pamela's Products Organic Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Cookies, 5.29-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6).
This recipe calls for dairy-free margarine but I prefer to use various oils such as almond, walnut, or grapeseed. Be careful not to overbake for even one minute or they are crumbly!
Any leftovers are great frozen and reheated in microwave so that the chocolate chunks are melty-gooey!
Also has a recipe for bar cars where you add coconut milk and flaked coconut which is excellent.

(More customer reviews)This is my favorite cake and muffin mix. It makes a very nice dense cake that no one would guess is gluten-free! I feel most oils are a more nutritious alternative to dairy-free margine, so I always use a different oil (walnut, almond, grapeseed, etc) and they all turn out delicious. I also substitute different sweeteners for the sugar such as maple syrup, honey, yacon syrup, date sugar, and coconut sugar and have been consistently very pleased. The bag also offers variations to make: pineapple upside-down cake, coconut cake, orange cake, lemon cake, ginger spice cake (one of my favorites!), marble cake, pumpkin cake, carrot cake, zucchini cake, banana cake, applesauce cake, snicker doodles, mexican wedding cookies, thumbprint cookies and pie crust. Enjoy!

(More customer reviews)I am a Cravings Place fan, and this is my favorite of all their mixes. I have allergies/severe intolerances to wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts. It is hard to find tasty baked goods with a decent texture, but the Cravings Place mixes are the best at achieving both.
I love this mix so much, that I had my mom make it for my wedding cake! She used homemade, thick apple butter between the layers, and a maple frosting. It was to die for!!! Nobody could tell it was not "normal" cake, and nobody cared! Like most GF cakes, this does not hold up so well to layering - but my mom is a kitchen goddess and figured it out.
I make this mix frequently. I love the cookies and cake equally. I can't keep my husband out of it, either!
Very fast and easy to make. Serve a warm bar cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice/soy/rice cream for an excellent treat!

(More customer reviews)I love this coffee cake mix. Because I don't have a problem with dairy, I use good old-fashioned butter in place of the dairy free stuff. I also make mine in cupcake tins...one pack makes 12 muffins. I then wrap each one in saran wrap, put them all in a freezer bag and pop them in the freezer. Each morning, I put one in the microwave for 30 seconds and have it for breakfast. Delicious and portion controlled!

(More customer reviews)This is a delicious gluten-free bread and muffin mix; it is also free of potato and polysorbate. No one would guess is gluten-free! I feel most oils are a more nutritious alternative to dairy-free margine, so I always use a different oil (walnut, almond, grapeseed, etc) and they all turn out delicious. I also substitute different sweeteners for the sugar such as maple syrup, honey, yacon syrup, date sugar, and coconut sugar and have been consistently very pleased. The bag also offers variations to make the following breads/muffins: poppy see, blueberry, berry, zucchini, apple, banana bread, pumpkin, dried cranberry apple, carrot raisin, streusel, tropical, and chocolate chunk.

(More customer reviews)Just so you know, there are no peanuts in this mix. You have the option to add any nut butter of your choice. I'd been wanting "peanut butter" cookies for years since our allergies were diagnosed, but peanuts are not an option for us. I made this mix using Sunbutter Natural Sunflower Seed Spread, 16-Ounce Plastic Jars (Pack of 6) and it was EXACTLY like the peanut butter cookies my mom used to make (you know, the ones rolled in sugar and pressed with a fork). I'm planning to make some more with dairy free chocolate- like the hershey's kiss ones- for Christmas. The batch made with one bag was huge. About double the amount you usually get from a cookie mix. Anyway, I highly recommend this mix. As a matter of fact, I haven't tried anything from the Cravings Place that didn't taste like the original gluten version I remember so go ahead and try whatever sounds good. You won't be disappointed!
