(More customer reviews)This mix saved my life. After being diagnosed with celiac disease, I tried all the "great" gluten-free bread machine recipes I could find (I am awful at baking bread by hand). They were all uniformly and unequivocally TERRIBLE. They were dense, didn't rise properly, caved in at the top or sides, etc etc etc. They also all tasted very gluten-free.
This mix, though is wonderful. It rises, sticks together very well for a fluffy gluten-free bread (it still has the tendancy to fall apart if not toasted), makes wonderful croutons and stuffing, browns properly and only occasionally caves in a little bit.
Things I have learned with this mix that help it a great deal:
1. Let the loaf sit in the bread machine for at least 20 minutes after it stops baking. (I have the standard Oster bread machine that was popular when the bread machine rose to popularity.)
2. Make it with rice milk. To me, cow's milk and almond milk taste funny with this recipe.
3. Let it cool for a good long while, it is very moist and will fall apart if you try to slice it immediately.

(More customer reviews)These are not the best gluten free brownies I've tried, but they are far and away the VERY best gluten free, casein free, egg free brownies out there. They have a texture that is a tad light for brownies- more like chocolate cake, but good flavor. Be sure to either eat them the first day or freeze leftovers. Like most gluten-free goodies, they become gritty after sitting out for a day.

(More customer reviews)We have this Pancake and Waffle mix and we prepare it with Rice milk as my daughter is allergic to dairy AND Soy. It is DELICIOUS. We make Mickey Mouse shaped waffles together, She eats an entire waffle herself. I eat them too because they are SO Delicious and it is easier than making seperate waffle mixes. Plus I think they taste BETTER than regular waffles. Very light and fluffy. We are just finishing our first box (which makes 9 waffles) and I am going to order a case from Amazon because the price is excellent. I paid almost $7 for one box at a local health foods store. I haven't made them into pancakes yet, because we have a waffle iron and it's just simple. Each 1 cup of mix makes 3 waffles. We each eat one and then I put the remaining prepared mix in the fridge and it keeps until the next day or two days later to make another waffle for her. I was pleased to find it available on Amazon! I have just ordered a case (four boxes) and signed up for the subscribe and save program which makes the price of this item better than I've seen anywhere! I usually bake from scratch, and, as you might see in other reviews I've written, I've been disappointed in gluten free mixes. However, this mix makes pancakes and waffles a snap...and it really tastes good! I also made the pineapple cake recipe on the back of the box and got rave reviews! It was really delicious and really easy. I make a lot of pancakes because my hubby loves to take PBJ's in his lunch and I don't always have the time to bake bread for his sandwiches. One time, when I had some pancakes left over from our breakfast, I made PBJ's using the pancakes instead of bread. He dubbed them "panwiches" and loves them. I cook up a bunch of pancakes, let them cool, make the sandwiches, and then freeze them in baggies for an easy grab and go lunch box item! Unlike breads, cooking them up takes little time, so, whenever I run out I know I can fix up some "panwiches" quickly! Oh, and I often put a glob of peanut butter in the batter (beat till smooth) to add even more to the flavor! (More customer reviews)I was completely surprised when one of my customers brought this cake mix to me to use for their wedding cake, I made it and it was wonderful. They paid $5.25 per mix, so once I realized how easy it is to use and how wonderful it is I began my search and was so excited to find it at such a good price. I tried mixing in different ways, according to package directions and also separating the eggs and beating the whites and folding them in as the final step in preparation. It was an effort to see how much height I could get. Beating the whites separately did give a little more height, but all in all I determined it was not worth the extra trouble. It is wonderful as it. I used one mix in a 10 inch square pan, baked three layers and stacked them. It made a very tall, nice, rich brownie-like cake. I don't need gluten-free but am so crazy about this mix I have a case now, for my personal use. I highly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)I was sick of eggs. And sick of cornflakes. So when I spotted the Pancake mix from Bob's, I had to try it. Like all of their products, it was really easy to make - just like any pancake mix. The first batch I made, however, were... well, let's say "Dense." I was feeding a guest, who clutched his throat and asked for liquid to wash it down. But I didn't think they were THAT bad, considering the wheat free sludge I'd engaged before. So, I drowned mine in maple syrup and thought it was quite tasty.
The next time, I tried modifying the recipe a bit with fruit - fresh blueberries to be exact. And those came out a lot moister and less dense. Mmm... blueberry pancakes... wonderful! I've tried other fruit, tossed in applesauce once... and each time, I got interesting twists on much moister pancakes.
I still don't eat them often -- just when I'm having a "help, I can't eat another egg" moment. Actually, they are good as part of a big brunch, with an egg over easy on top. Since can't eat bread with my eggs, it takes the place of toast.
I've wondered if whipping these frothy with a beater might help but haven't tried it yet. All in all, they're tasty, if a little thick, very filling and easy to whip up.
