(More customer reviews)I took one out and it told me to put 17.5 ounces of water into a covered dish and microwave for 9 minutes (approximately the amount of time to turn dirt into lava)... so I started out pretty darn skeptical. Then I opened the powder package and it smelled like fish food from my acquarium, so amazingly the skepticism increased. After considering whether to dump them or eat them I finally had a spoonfull and it was one of the best moves ive ever made. These things are friggen deliscious, I'm a fan for life and will definately be a repeat buyer.

I'm originally from California where it's fairly easy to find all types of Asian food, but now that I live in Wisconsin, I'm realizing that those days are over. So I was pretty psyched when these noodles popped up on the Amazon goldbox deal a week ago. They are really spicy and go great with napa cabbage, bean sprouts, and any other veggies you want. I tried them with egg earlier tonight after reading one of the other reviews on amazon, and it was amazing! Highly recommended for people who love spicy food, but also recommended for those (like me) who don't... just add half the seasoning packet!

Well, I'm stuck with these packages now of noodles I don't want to eat again. I've had healthier, whole grain, even organic versions of pasta/noodles that manage to preserve a nice flavor and normalish texture.
These did not. The graininess is offputting. There is no nice pasta/noodle flavor. It just like wet cardboard.
At least they're good until 2010. I may find a recipe that they'll work with. Or I can start giving them away, package by package. :)

Its just like the pasta we ate in Italy. Its crazy expensive and addictive. Buying a dozen boxes at a time is a great money saver.

The secret of Cipriani isn't about what can be seen or touched, but what can be felt and sensed. It's intangible but palpable. It can't be patented, But even after 75 years it hasn't been duplicated by others. Every 8.82 ounces of Tagliolini, Tagliarelle, Tagliardi, Pappardelle uses at least 1 gallon of salted water. Wait to boil, then deep the pasta in the water and stir gently at first. Let it boil the time specified on each box. Maybe a little bit more. Egg pasta needs to be ductile. That's the way we like it. Strain off all the water well. Add condiments in the same pot you have used to boil.

To this day his favorite dish is roast chicken and Spaetzle, and adding this as the starch to any meal with sauces or gravies increases the likelihood that he'll eat lots of the good stuff we put on top and feel like it's a treat.

(More customer reviews)With the exception of home-made, these are my favorite egg noodles. They always cook up just right -- firm and tasty. I got them on an Amazon Warehouse deal so the price was better than getting them at a warehouse club (and far better than the grocery store). These are the medium ones which are pretty narrow in size. Good for adding to soups, casseroles, or just tossing with some butter and veggies.
Came well packed with no discernable breakage in the packages.

(More customer reviews)I have switched to a low fat diet (all kinds of fat). I get 1 eating right broccoli slaw package canola oilin my scanpan garlic ginger paste , onions (optional), pour in the contents broccoli, cabbage, carrots or similar (loads of veggies to choose),
then oyster sauce and low sodium soy sauce, a teaspoon of each per 2 cups of veggies, stir fry for 10 minutes max and voila Chinese veggies. Drop a few drops of rice wine vinegar and pull the noodles out of the micowave (7minutes on high in my Fastapasta) and Dinner for 2 or 2 nites!!!! Sriracha sauce optional. All done in 15 minutes 0000 saturated fat and delicous.

To say that it is very, very thin does not explain well enough its unique texture and flavor. It is exceptionally light, and holds sauce beautifully.
