(More customer reviews)This bacon-flavored salt can be used on pretty much anything to give it a little extra (non-fat, probably non-pork) flavor. I've even used it to season other meats (hamburgers, chicken), which is probably a little strange and just one of the things that gives Americans a bad name in the rest of the world :)
Good stuff, albeit a tad pricey...but then again, a shaker of this size will probably last the average user a year or two (and if it doesn't, you've got bigger problems than reading reviews of what flavor of salt to buy on Amazon).

(More customer reviews)i have tried 3 pamela's products: the brownie mix, the pancake mix and the bread mix. first the brownies -- best i've ever tasted - i'm addicted to these things! i tried doing the applesauce substituted for oil and i don't recommend that - the brownies were too dry. the oil recipe is definitely the best -- also substituting espresso for water was yummy -- the pancake mix is really good too. i've made the pancakes and the waffles - the waffles are the best i've ever tasted, with or without gluten. my co-worker used the pancake mix as a substitute in a regular recipe that called for all-purpose flour and said it worked great. finally, the bread - my friend made me a loaf of bread in her bread machine and it was pretty good --not dry like most gluten-free products. the only thing was that when i tried to toast it, the bread remains moist - it won't toast! weird...anyway, i recommend all three products and buying them off amazon will save you $1.50 - $2.00 off the package price at the supermarket! A++++ on these products!

(More customer reviews)When traveling to Disney with my Grandkids, we ate at the Steakhouse at the Contemporary Hotel, I explained that I had Celiac Sprue, and could have no gluten. The chef said he had a special roll that was Gluten free and would give me 2 if I wanted. I said I had never found an eatable roll, but I would try. Well, it was the best "BREAD" I had had since I was diagnosed with CS. What a treat. I asked him what it was, and he said it was a product form ENER-G, available on the internet and that he (and several other restaurants at Disney, I discovered) serve them to people with food allergies all the time. Are they perfect? No, but they are as good as I have been able to find.

People look at these reviews (# of stars) to see if the product is good. They are not so stupid that they cannot determine the going rate for a k cup. Rating a vendor's price makes people think it tastes bad. In truth the flavor is a 4, but I gave it 5 to balance all the other misguided ones.

(More customer reviews)I was so excited to get these because I thought it would be a great healthy snack to keep at my desk. I ordered these and other flavor (double chocolate chunk) and after eating a couple of each, noticed that one of the cookies had bluish green mold on it. I assumed it was a bad one in the batch. I saw on the manufacturer's website that these should be stored in the freezer since the shelf life is 90 days (due to natural ingredients and no preservatives). I immediately put them in the freezer after getting them 3 weeks earlier. The next 4 cookies I opened had that same mold on it and after I examine the rest, I found that they all were moldy. Apparently Amazon had them stored in their warehouse for a while before I rec'd them. Since there were no dates stamped on the cookies, I have no idea how long they sat in the warehouse before I got them.
I will not be ordering these again and will be wary of ordering other food products from Amazon.com. They were great about refunding my money and I will continue to purchase from amazon, just not short shelf life food items.

I was pleased to find it available on Amazon! I have just ordered a case (four boxes) and signed up for the subscribe and save program which makes the price of this item better than I've seen anywhere! I usually bake from scratch, and, as you might see in other reviews I've written, I've been disappointed in gluten free mixes. However, this mix makes pancakes and waffles a snap...and it really tastes good! I also made the pineapple cake recipe on the back of the box and got rave reviews! It was really delicious and really easy. I make a lot of pancakes because my hubby loves to take PBJ's in his lunch and I don't always have the time to bake bread for his sandwiches. One time, when I had some pancakes left over from our breakfast, I made PBJ's using the pancakes instead of bread. He dubbed them "panwiches" and loves them. I cook up a bunch of pancakes, let them cool, make the sandwiches, and then freeze them in baggies for an easy grab and go lunch box item! Unlike breads, cooking them up takes little time, so, whenever I run out I know I can fix up some "panwiches" quickly! Oh, and I often put a glob of peanut butter in the batter (beat till smooth) to add even more to the flavor! (More customer reviews)I have been vegan for about two years. i love desserts and suffice it to say the selection of vegan offerings leaves much to be desired. These cookies are moist and chewy and not too sweet. Not too salty either as I have come across that. Not too oily. Vegan cookies can be too sweet and either too dry or too oily. There is a delicious coconut undertaste - the chocolate fools you into thinking it is milk. I like chocolate but most vegan chocolate is very dark or has a nasty rice dream aftertaste. If I were not vegan I would eat these - no crave these. My Whole Foods cannot keep this line in stock. Crazed sweet toothed vegans periodically raid the store and buy it out. Then we are back to boring fig newtons and dark chocolate bars (mmmmmm). Anyway - try it. I plan to buy from amazon now since I cant go too many weeks without a fix.. cheers

(More customer reviews)This mix makes the best tasting waffles. The batter smells like vanilla; the waffles are crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. For pancakes, the mix is a little thin and you must use more of the mix than you might need to use of some other gluten free packages, but the waffles are more than worth it. Mix is very easy to use and recipe can be cut in half using while still using a whole egg as in the larger recipe.

(More customer reviews)I was completely surprised when one of my customers brought this cake mix to me to use for their wedding cake, I made it and it was wonderful. They paid $5.25 per mix, so once I realized how easy it is to use and how wonderful it is I began my search and was so excited to find it at such a good price. I tried mixing in different ways, according to package directions and also separating the eggs and beating the whites and folding them in as the final step in preparation. It was an effort to see how much height I could get. Beating the whites separately did give a little more height, but all in all I determined it was not worth the extra trouble. It is wonderful as it. I used one mix in a 10 inch square pan, baked three layers and stacked them. It made a very tall, nice, rich brownie-like cake. I don't need gluten-free but am so crazy about this mix I have a case now, for my personal use. I highly recommend it.

What I love about No Pudge is that you can make a single serving. Directions are on the box. I mix two tablespoons of my favorite lowfat yogurt (the BEST is Axelrod black cherry - which makes this a Black Forest brownie) with 1/4 cup No Pudge mix and pop it in the micro for two minutes. This is a double brownie. The single brownie is too dinkie to satisfy me. Then I slather the rest of the yogurt over the brownie. The creamy yogurt mixes through the chewy brownie and is my hands down favorite send my belly to bed happy nighttime snack. 5 weight watchers points with the double serving and yogurt.

My name is Lindsay Frucci and I am a brownieholic. I love thick, fudgy, chewy brownies. I hate fat. In my food or on my hips, fat is something I like to live without. Since most thick, fudgy, chewy brownies are loaded with fat this created quite a problem. Were brownies without guilt a possibility? In January of 1995, I decided to try and find out.Since my family and I had already tried and rejected several commercially available fat free brownies (they either tasted like fruit or had no taste at all), I decided to see if I could come up with my own fat free brownie recipe. Enter my local SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) office. There, I was incredibly lucky to be connected with two wonderful gentlemen who had had extensive experience in the food industry. Mine is all black with pink on the inside and it has a very classic but cool look. I would totally use it as a work bag if I wasn't expecting!! It comes with a nice changing pad and I think what I like the best about it is that it is very streamlined and there isn't any extra nonsense. The hardware on the bag is great too - the rings that hold the straps to the bag are really sturdy and they have a great look. I am very excited to use it and might just use it pre-baby since it is so nice!
